RBI Assistant Prelims is straightforward — 100 questions, 60 minutes, three sections. But the cut-off is state-specific, meaning competition in states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu is significantly fiercer than in smaller states. Know your state cut-off history before you start. If your state has a high cut-off, you need to target 85+ out of 100 to be safe. If it is a low-competition state, 70+ may be enough.

10-Week Study Plan for RBI Assistant 2026-27
- Weeks 1–2: Numerical Ability and Reasoning foundations. Number series, simplification, puzzles, coding-decoding.
- Weeks 3–4: English Language and Computer Knowledge. RC, error detection, MS Office, computer fundamentals.
- Weeks 5–6: General Awareness — RBI-specific facts, 6-month current affairs capsule, banking terminology.
- Weeks 7–8: Prelims mocks every alternate day. Analyse every wrong answer and target state cut-off.
- Weeks 9–10: Mains mocks, Computer Knowledge shortcuts revision, GA current affairs final sprint, and Language Proficiency Test guidance.
The Language Proficiency Test (LPT) is the final step after Mains selection. It is qualifying only — you simply need to pass, not score high.
