Common questions about RBI Grade B prep.

Minimum 60% in graduation from a recognised university (55% for SC/ST). Age 21 to 30 years with standard relaxations. CA / CFA holders are directly eligible.
Basic pay starts at ₹55,200. With HRA, transport, medical, and family benefits, total monthly CTC is typically ₹1 lakh to ₹1.2 lakh.
RBI notifies 200 to 300 vacancies per year across General, DEPR, DSIM, and IT streams.
Phase II is the true differentiator. It combines objective and descriptive components. Candidates who master ESI and practise writing regularly have a clear edge.
Most serious candidates need 4 to 6 months for Phase I and an additional 2 months for Phase II writing practice — 6 to 8 months total from scratch.
